One day, a very cute little black and silver dog went on a walk-about. He headed out on his adventure, looking for love, snacks or fun, in who knows what order. His path took him along a very busy road with no shoulder, a recipe for disaster for animals. Fortunately, a nice person stopped and grabbed him before he became a puddle of eyelashes on the road.
Turns out that his former life had included no vet care, so in short order he was neutered and treated for heart worms. Somewhere along the way, he got his name: Poochini. His rescuer plays the violin in a symphony orchestra and she kept calling him Pooch, so that morphed into Poochini, in honor of the most beloved composer of opera ever, Puccini. This Poochini has no familiarity with La Boheme, Tosca or Madame Butterfly, but he is good with other dogs and with cats and very sweet, and he is a nice, small size. He does, however, yearn to go on walk-about again, so he is a big NO for off-leash adventures.
