Happy Endings - Adopted & Rescued Pets

Dixie Doolittle

I am a sweet little lady who loves going on walks and snuggling, especially on cold nights. I get along with other dogs and am house trained. As you can see, I am sitting here waiting to meet you and your family (dogs and kids too). Come meet me and fill out an adoption application so we can get this show on the road.

Dolly

I am a sweet, playful girl who was rescued with my mom and two brothers. I am a little pistol with lots of energy and would love to play with you so please consider adopting me. Now that I am a year old, I have probably reached my ideal weight.

Dolly Parton

“I feel pretty, oh so pretty” describes how I feel after my recent grooming. Don’t you agree? I was found wandering the streets with my doggie friend, Ginger, and my fur was so matted that it hurt. Now that Loving Arms got involved I can shine like the pretty girl that I am. Please consider adopting me and I will be your perfect companion.

Dottie

I’m looking for you. My momma had 8 babies and she is ready for me to be on my own and have a loving family of my own. If you want a busy little girl, remember that I am a puppy, we would make a good match. Fill out the application and let’s get going.

Dustie

I’m waiting for my play partner. I even brought my own toy. I am a sweet little girl who is looking for a family of my own. I do enjoy having another kitty to play with so I hope you have a friend for me. I am a bit shy and love being with my brother, Rusty.

Dylan

I was found wandering in a strange neighborhood (strange to me), thin and shivering on the eve of the Great Ice Storm of 2018. My foster mom took me home, and I quickly blossomed into the dashing, debonair, dynamo you see before you.
I’ve got tons of energy. My foster mom says I could be a great agility dog or a jogger’s best friend. Not to brag, but I do run like an antelope, leaping across the yard, and I can jump 2 feet high or more from a dead standstill. I’ve also been told I’m very smart (got that “sit” and “down” stuff down pat in no time), and I’m eager to please.

Earl Gray

I am a sweet, shy young man who was abandoned by my owner and Loving Arms stepped up to keep me off the nasty streets. I do have a tendency to drool. I get along with other dogs but am not sure about cats. Bring in your dog and let’s see if we can make a good match. I am a big boy and weigh 71 lbs.

Echo

I’m watching you. Do you see me? Want to meet and see if we make a good match?

Eiko

Last year, I adopted an energetic black kitten from Loving Arms named Anna - I renamed her Eiko. Just this week, I saw the "Happy Endings" section of your website and thought maybe I'd send over a couple of photos of how she's doing now. (I was working with Libby when I adopted Eiko.

I just wanted to send some photos - she's grown up a lot (although is still pretty silly), and is doing fantastic. I adopted her to give my other cat a playmate - Lydia is 4 and seemed to be a getting little bored, and I fell in love with Eiko the second I saw her. They became great friends almost as soon as Eiko came home - Eiko follows Lydia all over the place, and they play together all the time (rather, Lydia puts up with Eiko's playing). They also sleep right next to each other. I renamed her "Eiko" after a little sister character from a story I like.

I admire the work that you all do so much - I know it's not easy.

Thank you,

Eli

Although I can't tell you what happened, you will notice that I am slow to trust new people. Give me a chance to get to know you and I will be a loyal, forever companion.

You see, I was abandoned at a time when my ear infections caused severe pain. I didn't realize that my rescuers would help me, and my head was aching. Slowly I began to feel better, and could get the rest I needed.
