Archie is a 6 year old yorkie and weighs 8 lbs.  He is housed trained and ready for the family. 

Yorkie, is a tiny, energetic toy dog breed that weighs no more than 7 pounds (3.2 kg) and stands 7 to 8 inches tall

  • Appearance: Recognizable by a fine, straight, silky coat that is tan on the head and dark steel-blue or grey on the body.

  • Personality: Brave, confident, and clever with a big-dog attitude, yet affectionate and loving with their owners.

  • Lifespan: Typically lives between 13 and 16 years

Personality & Training

  • Grooming: Requires daily brushing if kept long, or regular trims in a short "puppy cut". Their hair is similar to human hair and needs weekly bathing.

  • Exercise: Needs moderate daily walks and playtime to burn off energy and prevent boredom.

  • Training: Smart and eager to please, though they can be stubborn; they respond best to positive reinforcement
