Our Story

Committed to Finding Homes for Every Animal in Need

Loving Arms Pet Placement is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization supported entirely by private donations and the support of dedicated volunteers. The group was formed to provide rehabilitative and placement services for homeless dogs and cats. Additionally, we work with a group of shelters in S.E. Texas to take dogs and cats that would otherwise be euthanized. As we do not have a facility, we rely on volunteers to house our animals (fosters) while they are readied for forever homes. We support fosters with all medical care, food and any other supplies needed. Our animals are placed in approved adoptive homes in Texas, as well as in other areas of the country via website exposure and partnerships with transport services.

With a dedicated team of volunteers, we ensure every pet receives proper veterinary care, fostering, and support, making each adoption a heartfelt experience for both pets and their new families.

Understanding Our Origins and Growth

Founded by passionate animal lovers, Loving Arms Pet Placement began its journey in response to the overwhelming issue of strays in Houston. Our community of volunteers has tirelessly fostered animals, enabling them to find safe and permanent homes while promoting responsible pet ownership and compassion towards all living beings.

Over the years, Loving Arms has expanded its reach and impact, forming partnerships with local businesses and organizations while hosting adoption events, which have become a crucial resource for the community in addressing pet homelessness.
